ABOUT EDWIN DUNCAN

Edwin Duncan’s story is not about politics. It’s about service, hard work, and building something lasting. Born at Fort Bragg while his father served in the U.S. Army, Edwin later moved and was raised in Alabama in a proud middle-class military family and carried those values into his own service in the U.S. Navy.
Following his service, Edwin decided to build his life in Georgia where he started businesses and served his community. He and his wife April have watched their children, and now grandchildren, grow up on Lake Lanier.
In business, Edwin started from the ground up. He walked away from a comfortable corporate track to launch his first roofing company, expanding it to 5 offices across 4 states before selling and later building another company. Today, he leads successful companies in commercial/residential roofing and home restoration, solar tech, and HVAC supply — creating jobs, solving problems, and helping Georgia families.
Beyond business, Edwin has poured over a decade into coaching girls’ volleyball. He has coached at the club, high school, junior Olympic, and collegiate levels. Coaching teams on championship runs, and experiencing firsthand why the importance of fairness in girls’ sports matters.
Now, with four children serving in the military and deep community ties, Edwin is running for the State House to back the blue, lower costs and taxes, protect women and girls sports, empower parents, expand skilled trades, and deliver real relief for Georgia families.
