ABOUT

EDWIN DUNCAN

Navy veteran. Business builder. Edwin Duncan has spent more than 20 years building his life in Georgia, raising a proud military family and creating jobs through commercial and residential roofing, solar, and HVAC supply. He is running for the State House to back the blue, lower costs and taxes, protect women and girls sports, empower parents, expand skilled trades, and deliver relief for Georgia families.

EDWIN DUNCAN

ON THE ISSUES

LOWER COSTS & TAXES

As a small business owner, Edwin knows how inflation, insurance, and energy costs squeeze families financially. In the State House, he will fight to lower the state income tax, property tax, cut red tape that drives up prices, and create an economy where local businesses thrive and families can keep more of what they earn.

PROTECT GIRLS’ SPORTS & TITLE IX

After years of successfully coaching girls’ volleyball, Edwin knows firsthand how much fairness and opportunity matter to female athletes. That’s why he will fight to protect Title IX, keep boys out of girls’ sports and private spaces, and make sure our daughters do not lose scholarships, championships, or safety on the altar of a political agenda.

BACK THE BLUE & CUT CRIME

Edwin will always stand with law enforcement and first responders. He knows that when officers and firefighters are supported, communities are safer. He will work to fund recruitment and equipment, crack down on violent offenders, and end the anti-police politics that drives good men and women out of uniform.

EDUCATION THAT WORKS

Not every student’s path leads to a four-year degree and that's okay. Edwin will push for back-to-basics reading and math instruction, expand school choice so parents get to decide what's best for their kids, and elevate skilled trade and career pathways for students who want to build their future right here in Georgia.

JOBS & SMALL BUSINESSES

Edwin has spent his civilian career building companies that put Georgians to work. He has created jobs, trained workers, and managed teams that keep families and businesses moving forward. He knows what it takes to make payroll, deal with regulations, and compete in a tough economy. In the legislature, he will bring that same experience to fight for small businesses, cut red tape, and make Georgia the best place in America to work, build, and grow.

SENIOR PROPERTY TAX RELIEF

No senior should be taxed out of the home they worked their career to afford. Edwin will fight to reduce or eliminate school-tax burdens once children graduate, while protecting the funding needed for police, fire, and emergency services. Georgia’s seniors deserve relief and respect.

FAITH, FAMILY & FREEDOM

For Edwin, faith and family come first. Raised in a military family and now leading one of his own, he knows strong families are the foundation of strong communities. In the legislature, he will stand firm for Georgia’s conservative values, defend religious freedom, and protect the right to live by your beliefs without interference from the government.

FREE SPEECH

Edwin believes every American should be able to speak their mind without the fear of censorship, intimidation, or political persecution. We may not always agree, but disagreement is part of a healthy society. In the legislature, he will defend free expression, restore basic decency to our debates, and ensure that no Georgian loses their voice because of politics.
